Bernal

Bernal represents the beauty of nature and the importance of preserving it. La Peña de Bernal located in the town of Bernal that belongs to the municipality of Ezequiel Montes in the state of Querétaro, Mexico. It is considered the third largest monolith in the world, after the Rock of Gibraltar (Mediterranean) and the Sugar Loaf (Rio de Janeiro). It is estimated that the Peña de Bernal has an altitude of 2,510 meters above sea level and 350 meters above the level of the town, so it is possible to catch a panoramic view of this entire Queretaro region. I made this photograph on a trip to the city of Santiago de Querétaro, where I decided to visit this great formation of nature.
